Easter Teepee Breakfast for Alice & Ava
It's no secret that I'm a little extra when it comes to the holidays. I love dressing up the kids, making special goody baskets, buying the matching themed pajamas, and finding really any excuse to craft and celebrate during the weeks leading up to any holiday.
With Easter around the corner, I thought it would be fun to throw a festive little Teepee Easter Breakfast for the girls. This also doubled as an early Easter photoshoot because lord knows getting the kids dressed and out of the house on Easter Sunday is stressful enough, without the added pressure of needing to get a great picture of both of them in their Easter dresses!
I set the whole thing up on our front patio. The teepee and thick woven playmat were from Amazon (I'll be linking to everything at the end as well). My sweet friend Nancy from SYS Balloon Designs then came and worked her balloon magic to create the dreamiest purple, mauve and pink balloon garland, that brought the whole set-up to the next level!! If you are local to Southern California and are looking to elevate your next special event, I highly recommend checking her out! Nancy had the idea to add elegant gold butterflies throughout the garland and I just LOVED how it all turned out.
Once the set up was finished -- complete with twinkle lights and all... I made some bunny shaped cinnamon rolls for the girls to have during their breakfast party. They are so simple to make... just unroll one roll, and cut two strips to form the bunny ears under one of the in-tact rolls. Top with frosting and Easter sprinkles!
The last thing to add was my two little chicks... dressed up in their matching lavender linen dresses from Luma to Luna. These dresses are so adorable, I can't wait to see them wear them on Easter day!
